I'm Zahra. I ran my first marathon May 19, 2013 (When I was still 30, my goal was to do it while I was 30).
    Last May, I thought it would be my first and last marathon. My only goal was to complete it and have it crossed off my bucket list. I don't know why it was on my bucket list. It could be that I hated running and saw it as absolutely impossible. I wanted to be an athlete and 26.2 miles makes you an athlete for sure. I also thought I would lose a ton of weight. 
Well I didn't lose any weight. I was running miles and miles and I maintained the same weight. Now, I am taking it easy on the exercise, so I don't stress my body out anymore. I don't know if I will every run another marathon, but I do like running so maybe I will do the 10 miler or a 5K and work on timing.
 I have a nutrition degree and I am applying for my internship so I can become a Registered Dietitian. If I am accepted, that will start August 1, 2014. I have time now to learn the piano and figure out the kind of eating and exercise plan works for me. I'm going to learn to play Yanni's One Man's Dream while I'm at it.
I am trying to adapt to the Paleo lifestyle. Adapt is a funny word, since it's going back to the food we are adapted to be eating anyway. It's an uphill battle. We'll see where it takes me.
